Amanda Ringstad

Born in Edmonds WA, based in Seattle, Amanda Ringstad approaches still photography with careful consideration and playful precision. With a sculpture and fine arts background, Amanda’s work is a refined insight into color, form, and texture. Her natural curiosity and use of light combine to create inventive compositions, where even everyday forms can gain fresh significance. Ringstad holds a BFA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In 2017, Ringstad was selected to be in PDN’s 30 New and Emerging Photographers to Watch. She was also selected for the American Photography Winners 31.
